What is Power Vinyasa?

Power Vinyasa is a strong, flow-based yoga style which is practiced in a heated room with high humidity. Like Vinyasa, Power Yoga links postures and transitions with breath. In addition, there’s a strong focus on strength-building and toning with corework, armwork and leg-strengthening. This practice is rooted in traditional yoga methodologies but has a modern twist and features carefully selected music to enhance the flow. This is both a moving meditation and an excellent full-body workout which increases flexibility and general fitness levels. We recommend that beginners try other styles before attending Power Vinyasa. Practitioners are encouraged to take breaks whenever necessary and to hydrate well before and after class.

Once the body is warm and switched on, we settle into deeper work, focusing on alignment, balance and precision.
